Trade Assistant – Engineering Workshop
Day Shift | $32+ per hour | Monday to Friday

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to join our valued client’s busy engineering workshop in Thurgoona.

Our client is a long-established metal fabrication and site installation specialist involved in delivering major infrastructure projects across Australia. With over 25 years of experience, they manufacture and install structural steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and sheet metal components for projects ranging from bridges and commercial buildings to railway systems. They are recognises as leaders in quality, innovation, and project delivery.

About the Role:

In this hands-on position, you’ll support a team of skilled fabricators by:

• Using power tools to grind and prepare parts
• Grinding and cleaning welds
• Performing general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and tidy work area
• Collecting and delivering parts to fabricators as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience using hand and power tools (grinders, drills, etc.)
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Reliable transport

• $32+ per hour (including casual loading)
